Cal Poly University celebrates tactics to reduce number of white students on campus… all in the name of “inclusiveness”

A once-great engineering and technical institution in California that used to pride itself on academic achievement is now welcoming its rapid demise with open arms by embracing the toxic leftist doctrine of “diversity” at all costs.

Rather than seek to gain more qualified “brainy” students to join its ranks, regardless of their skin color, Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo is instead trying to remove as many “white” students as possible in order to achieve its political goals of bringing in more brown and black students.

Cal Poly recently released a 30-page report outlining its plans to attract more “color” at the expense of “non-color” – describing the systematic elimination of whites from its student population as a virtuous effort to “improve diversity.”

“To further advance its goals of reflecting the demographics of California and creating a more diverse and inclusive campus community, Cal Poly administration has developed the following Diversity Action Initiatives document,” the report explains.

“One goal is to increase the number of people of color on campus beyond the increases that have already occurred over the past few years, as ‘applications from underrepresented minority students doubled between 2008 and 2018,'” it adds, noting that, “in 2011, the campus was 63 percent Caucasian. In fall of 2017, it was less than 55 percent … but there is still much work to do.”

Cal Poly now actively discriminating against whites and males by eliminating academic metrics at which they tend to excel

Apart from flat-out rejecting the applications of prospective white students simply based on the color of their skin, Cal Poly has come up with a few other more covert tactics designed to draw in more blacks and browns at the expense of whites. One of these was to remove the Early Decision program, which, because more whites took advantage of it, was declared by the school to unfairly “disadvantage low-income students.”

Cal Poly has also created new scholarship programs available only to “minorities” that are “aimed at recruiting more African-American and other underrepresented” people groups. If this isn’t enough, then Cal Poly plans to further partner with predominantly non-white high schools to collect as many browns and blacks as possible.

No anti-white “diversity” effort would be complete without targeting men as well, which is why Cal Poly is also implementing a policy to forcibly increase female “diversity” by altering the admissions standards for “traditionally male-dominated majors.”

And if all of that isn’t enough, Cal Poly – a publicly-funded university, by the way – plans to further reinvent its entire faculty to eliminate as many whites and males as possible. With the help of a $150,000 grant from the Cal State University system, Cal Poly will now hire faculty only every other year, and all prospective applicants will be required to meet certain “diversity” standards in order to even be considered.

Starting this fall, all campus leaders will “require a diversity statement from candidates for all faculty and staff searches.” Search committees will also be forcibly diversified in order to achieve the school’s plan of attaining “best practices regarding diversity.”

“A once-great engineering school has expanded its curriculum to social engineering,” wrote one commenter at MRCTV.org about the changes.

“Promoting incompetence using our higher institutions is the downfall of America,” commented another.

But Cal Poly is proud of its aggressively racist new policies against whites, which it says led to “the most diverse incoming class in the university’s history in fall 2017.”
