A public school teacher in Oklahoma who was fired back in April from one school system for brainwashing students into extremism is back at it again in another.
Tyler Wrynn now teaches “English” to eighth graders at Will Rogers Middle School in Tulsa, and his curriculum includes telling students to reject their parents and choose him as their new parent.
“I am an anarchist,” Wrynn told Project Veritas during an undercover interview. (Related: Remember when the Boston Teachers Union was caught pushing assassination as a legitimate form of resistance against “oppression?”)
“So, I have a rather large TikTok following. I’m an authority figure. So, I [publish] a Christmas message of, ‘Hey, if your parents don’t love and support you for who you are this Christmas, f*** them. I’m your parent now. I love you. Drink some water. I’m proud of you.”
How that message ties into his English lessons remains unclear, but it gets worse. Wrynn says his goal is “to burn down the entire system,” which includes the removal of all Christianity and religion “from progressive thought, because religion is inherently hierarchical.”
Wrynn, who used to work in the Owasso Public Schools system, seems to know what he can and cannot say in the classroom to avoid getting fired this time. He made mention of House Bill 1775 “or something,” which he knows could lead to his teaching license being revoked if he is caught doing any of this in the classroom.
Wrynn appears to have sidestepped his school’s policies by moving his anti-system curriculum to TikTok where anything goes, it seems. Wrynn can preach to his students there about how to tear down the system, get away from their parents, and become transgenders, among other messages.
“If I speak about religion in the classroom, I can get it [teaching license] revoked, yes,” Wrynn responded when asked about how far he goes in the classroom. “But I don’t.”
The video of Wrynn’s interview with the undercover reporter is available for viewing at Project Veritas.
The undercover report is somewhat of a deviation from Project Veritas’ normal reporting. In the past, the group has exposed corrupt Planned Parenthood employees for selling aborted baby body parts on the black market for extra cash, as one example.
Lately, parents have shown increased interest in what is going on at their children’s public schools. Now that the concept of groomers is gaining widespread traction, Project Veritas probed this issue a little more using Wrynn as one example.
The bill Wrynn was referring to, HB 1775 Emergency Rules, was passed in response to the problem of groomers. It establishes and reiterates parental rights over their children’s education while prohibiting teachers from indoctrinating these children in the classroom.
HB 1775 prohibits:
“… discrimination on the basis of race or sex in the form of bias, stereotyping, scapegoating, classification, or the categorical assignment of traits, morals, values, or characteristics based solely on race or sex. Public schools in this state shall be prohibited from engaging in race or sex-based discriminatory acts by utilizing these methods, which result in treating individuals differently on the basis of race or sex or the creation of a hostile environment.”
In a section of HB 1775 entitled “Parental Rights,” the bill adds that parents and legal guardians of students enrolled at Oklahoma public schools have the full right “to inspect curriculum, instructional materials, classroom assignments, and lesson plans.”
It adds that “no public school shall interfere with or infringe upon the fundamental rights of parents to determine their child’s education.”
