A Chicago-based second-generation “Latina preacher” by the name of Sandra Van Opstal is leading a panel on behalf of Evangelicals for Harris, a “Christian” campaign organization that wants to deconstruct “white Jesus” while killing off white evangelicals.
On August 14, Opstal will speak alongside other Evangelicals for Harris – Kamala herself endorsed this group, by the way – who say they are tired of “white church” and would rather reimagine “the intersection of faith and justice.”
The executive director of another group called Chasing Justice, Opstal contributed to A Rhythm of Prayer. She also authored a book called The Next Worship that one can only imagine from the title is all about recreating the Christian religion in Opstal’s image.
Kamala referred to Opstal as a “special speaker” who will present her beliefs during a Zoom call on August 14.
“Just like Malcolm X preached, the ‘white liberal is the worst enemy to America and the worst enemy to the black man,'” someone tweeted on X in response to this insanity.
“The white liberal women in this country think they know what’s best for every single other person – it’s sickening.”

Fortunately for America, Evangelicals for Harris appears to be a one-woman show, or perhaps there are a few more obese women involved. Either way, the group does not represent evangelicalism at large across the country.
“The Bible warns of false prophets,” someone on X warned about Opstal. “Fortunately, Sandra doesn’t appear to have much support … yet. However, she needs to be stopped.”
It is clear from Kamala’s alliances that every white, Christian Republican will be at risk under a Kamala regime, warned another.
“The only ones who are talking about white Jesus are them,” said another. “These people are not Christians. They are Marxists.”
“More like intersection of fat and obese,” wrote another, mocking a post from Evangelicals for Harris that uses the far-left wording of “intersection” to describe Opstal’s agenda.
The Evangelicals for Harris account on X was so offended by the comment above that it posted a scathing religious rebuke, complete with all the usual sanctimony and outrage.
“We’re praying that God helps you find your way out of the pain that causes you to spread hate,” the account humorously wrote. “Praying that love would rise in you and the grace of Jesus surround you. There’s a better way to live than this, bud.”
“Y’all need to find Jesus before you try to preach to the rest of us,” someone else responded after that.
Apparently the Kamala campaign is having to scrape the bottom of the barrel for support, even stooping so low as to endorse an anti-white “Latina preacher” who claims to speak for God.
“God will smite you for all your heresy,” is one of the many, many comments of rebuke aimed at Opstal for making a mockery of the true Christian faith.
Another drudged up old X (then Twitter) posts from Opstal in which she rejected all forms of Jesus with fair skin.
“Decolonizing scripture alongside siblings from the majority world is a joy!” Opstal wrote with apparent religious euphoria. “Deconstructing white Jesus and white church is not for me. You all created it, you all can podcast about it until all awards are won!”
“I have very little interest in spending time and energy to resuscitate the corpses within white evangelicalism. I do however believe there is a remnant of people worth engaging. Whatever needs to die, let it die. We need death and resurrection. We need reckoning revival.”
